On Thursday, April 21, Fr. Luis Romero, CM, Vocation Director of The Congregation of the Mission – Vincentians of the Eastern Province, along with members of the Pastoral Vocional (Lay Group of Vocation Promotion) held a concert for the youth and families of the Hispanic community of Long Island, NY.

The concert took place at Saint John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip, NY. Young people from different youth groups within the diocese of Rockville Centre gathered for a night of Catholic music and a moment of Eucharist adoration. The focus of the concert was on vocation awareness and God’s call to follow Him in the religious life

Vincentian Seminarians were in attendance and helped welcome and accommodate the concert goers as they entered the Rockville auditorium where the concert was held.

It was a blessed and joyful night filled with praise, worship, and fellowship. Thanks be to God for this wonderful encounter. We pray for the fruits of this effort for vocation promotion.
